Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed concern over the evolving global situation, criticizing the Centre’s response to international developments. Gehlot emphasized the need for timely preparedness, especially in the delicate oil and gas scenario. He highlighted the importance of transparency and public confidence during times of crisis.

Gehlot accused the Union government of being late in addressing global conflicts, leading to unpreparedness for potential fallout. He questioned the government’s handling of recent events and criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s response as lacking preparedness. Gehlot also commented on former US President Donald Trump’s inconsistent remarks about world leaders, including PM Modi.

Regarding the Venezuela coup, Gehlot condemned President Trump’s actions and the lack of global condemnation. He dismissed Pakistan’s role as a mediator in current geopolitical issues, citing India’s historical military victories. Gehlot urged for peace and criticized the use of the term “brokerage” in foreign policy discussions.

Expressing worry about escalating conflicts, Gehlot stressed the importance of prioritizing peace globally. He raised concerns about India’s current global position, urging reflection on the country’s foreign policy direction. Gehlot highlighted past incidents and called for introspection on India’s standing in the world today.
