Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma criticized the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, accusing them of worsening conditions for Hindus through “appeasement politics.” Sarma pledged that if the BJP comes to power, they would restore balance, enhance law and order, and crack down on illegal infiltration.

Speaking at a rally in Balrampur, Sarma highlighted the growing support for the BJP in West Bengal as an alternative capable of transforming the state into “Sonar Bangla.” He emphasized that the ruling party’s focus on vote-bank politics has created insecurity among various sections of society.

Sarma asserted that due to the Trinamool Congress’ appeasement policies, the situation of Hindus in West Bengal has deteriorated. He urged voters to choose the BJP in the upcoming elections, promising to identify and deport illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators to prioritize national security and demographic balance.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to lead West Bengal towards development, citing the state’s significant historical and cultural contributions to India. He warned against political violence, stating that any harm to BJP workers post-election would face severe legal repercussions under the Trinamool Congress’ rule.

Sarma concluded by urging voters to support the BJP decisively, emphasizing the party’s commitment to the state’s progress and governance that aligns with its rich legacy.
