Shiv Sena-UBT MLA Aaditya Thackeray has urged the government to take action against the corporator, Ramesh Mhatre, including his arrest and disqualification from office. NCP-SP leader Rohit Pawar labeled the incident as ‘hooliganism’ and blamed those in power for such behavior. He emphasized the importance of respecting medical professionals and condemned the assault on the doctors and staff.
Congress MLA Nana Patole criticized the ruling alliance for its arrogance and highlighted the need for immediate government action. Congress leader Aslam Shaikh accused the ruling party of being intoxicated with power and emphasized the government’s responsibility to provide proper healthcare infrastructure. NCP MLA Saroj Ahire stressed the importance of addressing grievances through legal channels and condemned the assault on women.
Maharashtra Minister Meghana Bordikar described the incident as unfortunate and emphasized the dedication of healthcare workers. Minister Prakashrao Abitkar called for proper conduct from everyone and assured that action would be taken against those responsible. Meanwhile, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the assault, and legal action is set to be initiated against the corporator involved.
