Australia women secured a dominant 10-wicket win over India in the one-off Test at the WACA Ground, ensuring Alyssa Healy’s international career ended on a high note. With this win, Australia also sealed the multi-format series with a commanding 12-4 lead over India.
India, who had initially won the T20I series 2-1, faced a setback as Australia bounced back with victories in the ODI series and the one-off Test. Despite a strong performance from Pratika Rawal and Sneh Rana in the second innings, India was bowled out for 149, setting a modest target of 25 runs for Australia.
Australia easily chased down the target in 4.3 overs without losing a wicket, with Georgia Voll scoring 16 not out and Phoebe Litchfield contributing 11 not out. Earlier in the match, Annabel Sutherland’s century and Ellyse Perry’s all-round performance had propelled Australia to a commanding position.
