Yoga guru and Patanjali co-founder Baba Ramdev, speaking at a Ram Navami event in Haridwar, emphasized the need for world peace amidst the ongoing conflict in West Asia. He stated that neither America would win the war nor would Iran lose, highlighting Iran’s display of strength through missile launches and bombings. Ramdev stressed the importance of democracy not being about instilling fear and urged for the protection of other nations’ sovereignty.
Ramdev also pointed out India’s potential role in mediating the conflict, advocating for the country to promote unity globally based on the principle of ‘Vasudev Kutumbakam’ (world is one family). He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political and diplomatic efforts and expressed confidence in India’s ability to contribute significantly to resolving the crises arising from the conflict between Israel, America, and Iran through dialogue.
Asserting that India could lead the world out of the crisis stemming from the war, Ramdev called for unity on matters of national interest, particularly concerning foreign policy. On the occasion of Ram Navami, he extended greetings to all citizens and highlighted the importance of preserving cultural heritage by educating children about it during festivals.
