The aging and makeshift structures in the slum quarters are a common sight, raising concerns over safety. A 22-member team, including firemen and supervisors, worked efficiently to clear debris and evacuate all trapped individuals. Fortunately, all 58 residents were safely rescued, with only one woman sustaining injuries to her hands and head.
Authorities, including municipal estate department officers, were on-site to coordinate the rescue efforts.
