Bangalore Blasters secured an eight-run victory over Coastal Kings Mangaluru in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 match. The Blasters, after rain interruptions, successfully chased a revised target of 109 runs in 11 overs. This win marked their fifth victory in six matches, solidifying their position at the top of the points table with 10 points.

Coastal Kings Mangaluru, facing their second loss in six matches, now stand in second place with seven points. The gap between them and the Blasters widened to three points. Openers Bhuvan Mohan Raju and Rohan Patil remained unbeaten, with Raju scoring 50 runs off 31 balls and Patil contributing 17 runs off 11 balls.

In the first innings, Coastal Kings’ captain Karun Nair and Shreyas Gopal built a crucial partnership, adding 55 runs for the third wicket. Despite a strong start, Coastal Kings stumbled to 118 for four after Nair and Gopal’s dismissals. Suraj Ahuja’s aggressive innings of 45 runs off 22 balls helped Coastal Kings reach a challenging total of 179-6.
