The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the women’s squad for the upcoming Test against Australia and the India A squad for the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup. The Test squad features new faces compared to the previous encounter with Australia in December 2023. Amanjot Kaur and Pratika Rawal have earned their maiden call-ups as batters, while Kranti Gaud, Vaishnavi Sharma, and Sayali Satghare are the latest additions among bowlers.

The Test against Australia Women is scheduled to be held at the WACA from 6th to 9th March, 2026, after the white-ball series. The BCCI mentioned that wicketkeeper-batter G Kamalini will miss the white-ball squads due to an injury concern, with Uma Chetry named as her replacement for the T20Is and ODIs.

Additionally, Kamalini’s absence from the Mumbai Indians’ Women’s Premier League (WPL) saw Vaishnavi making her debut as a replacement. The India ‘A’ squad for the Rising Star Women’s Asia Cup in Thailand will be captained by Radha Yadav, with Deeya Yadav and wicketkeeper Mamta M’s participation subject to fitness clearance from the BCCI Center of Excellence (CoE).

The Women’s Test squad includes players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, and others. The India A squad for the ACC Rising Star Asia Cup comprises players such as Humairaa Kaazi, Vrinda Dinesh, Anushka Sharma, and more.
