State-owned Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) has partnered with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to collaborate on advanced technologies, digital transformation, and capacity building, as announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The collaboration will involve joint project implementation, consultancy, and technical support, focusing on emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT, cyber security, 5G, and cloud computing.
This partnership will also facilitate the development of turnkey solutions across various sectors, promote technology transfer, and commercialize innovative products. The agreement underscores the importance of capacity building, workforce upskilling, and skill development initiatives to enhance technical capabilities.
BECIL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Cmde D.K. Murali (Retd), expressed that this collaboration will enhance the company’s expertise in advanced technologies and digital transformation. By combining the strengths of both organizations, the partnership aims to provide impactful solutions and contribute to India’s digital growth.
The collaboration is expected to drive innovation, accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, and help establish a resilient and future-ready digital ecosystem in alignment with the government’s ‘Digital India’ vision. The MoU was signed by BECIL’s Director (O&M) Capt (IN) Saurav Chauhan (Retd) and C-DAC’s Registrar Niranjan Vaishnav in the presence of senior officials.
