Bengali superstar and Bollywood actor Jisshu Sengupta shared in an interview that he avoids watching his own movies as he does not enjoy seeing himself on screen. Despite being in the industry for nearly 30 years, he has rarely viewed his own performances. Instead, he prefers watching action-packed, mindless films like those from Marvel and DC.
Jisshu mentioned that he finds joy in movies with action sequences that are not overly logical. He expressed a preference for films like Batman and Superman, along with enjoying animated classics like Tom and Jerry. Despite his successful career and versatility in the Bengali film industry, he maintains a distance from watching his own work.
Known for his diverse roles, Jisshu Sengupta has been a significant presence in Bengali cinema for more than two decades. His acclaimed performances in movies such as Chotushkone, Jaatishwar, and Byomkesh Bakshi have solidified his reputation in the industry. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of the movie Bhoot Bangla, featuring a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav, set to hit the screens on April 10.
