In a tense finish, Hubli Tigers needed five runs off the final ball but could only manage 201/7, with Nischith Rao and Vidwath Kaverappa excelling in the bowling department for Bengaluru Blasters. This victory marked Bengaluru Blasters’ sixth win in seven matches, consolidating their lead in the standings, while Hubli Tigers faced their third defeat in the tournament.
Earlier, Bengaluru Blasters posted 203/7 with Rohan Patil and Praveen Dubey’s solid contributions. The duo, along with Samit Dravid, played pivotal roles in setting up the challenging total. Bengaluru Blasters’ bowling, led by Vaibhav Sharma and Abhishek Ahlawat, also played a crucial role in defending the target.
