Ahead of the Bengaluru leg of Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, Bengaluru Blasters’ player Rohan Patil warns against complacency, emphasizing that the team must stay focused despite leading the points table and securing a playoffs spot. The tournament will take place at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, with a close battle expected among the remaining five franchises vying for playoff berths.
Patil, who has scored 269 runs in eight innings, acknowledged the team’s strong performance but stressed the importance of maintaining focus. The Blasters will kick off the Bengaluru leg against Mysore Warriors, followed by a match between Shivamogga Yodhas and Hubli Tigers.
Mysore Warriors, led by all-rounder Ritesh Bhatkal with 214 runs and eight wickets, enter the Bengaluru leg on a winning streak. Bhatkal highlighted the team’s collective effort and expressed confidence in their performance during the crucial phase of the tournament. Meanwhile, Shivamogga Yodhas’ Luvnith Sisodia, the current Orange Cap holder with 278 runs, discussed his batting form and increased leadership responsibilities as Vice-Captain.
Coastal Kings Mangaluru, led by all-rounder Shreyas Gopal, will face Hubli Tigers in the upcoming match. Gopal, tied at the top of the bowling charts with 11 wickets, emphasized team success over individual achievements and expressed optimism about the team’s morale and performance in the upcoming games.
