Bengaluru FC has named Renedy Singh as their head coach for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season. Following the departure of Gerard Zaragoza last year, Singh, who previously coached East Bengals, will lead the team into the new season starting on February 14. Singh’s experience in the ISL and his coaching stints at Bengaluru FC will be valuable assets for the team.
Singh’s brief tenures as interim head coach showcased his ability to handle pressure situations and communicate effectively with players. Apart from his interim roles, Singh has also served as a full-time head coach at I-League club NEROCA FC, emphasizing organizational skills and successful team guidance on a budget. With his background as a former midfielder for the Indian National team, Singh is well-prepared to guide Bengaluru FC through the challenging ISL season.
Sports minister Mandaviya confirmed the participation of all 14 clubs in the upcoming ISL season. Further details regarding the tournament format, platforms for broadcasting, and venue arrangements will be disclosed soon. Once these details are finalized, teams will regroup and commence preparations for the season ahead.
