Thousands of players participated in the Beyond Reach Premier League (BRPL) trials at Trident Cricket Academy in Ghaziabad on May 20 and 21. The event witnessed a high level of enthusiasm from aspiring cricketers in Delhi-NCR and nearby regions. BRPL’s focus on identifying and nurturing grassroots tennis-ball cricket talent was evident during the two-day trials.
Former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More, who serves as the BRPL league commissioner, closely monitored the players’ performances across various skill parameters. The selection process evaluated players on batting, bowling, fielding, fitness, temperament, and match awareness to identify promising talent suitable for a professional tennis-ball cricket setup.
Sushil Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO of BRPL, expressed satisfaction with the overwhelming response received during the Delhi trials. He highlighted the passion and commitment displayed by players from different areas, emphasizing the league’s goal of fostering a vibrant cricketing ecosystem.
