The filming of director Sampath Nandi’s action-packed movie ‘Bhogi’, starring Sharwanand, has entered a significant phase with the start of a crucial schedule in Rajahmundry. This schedule will feature intense action sequences set in the rugged Rampachodavaram forests, overseen by renowned action choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan. Sharwanand and the main cast are actively involved in this phase, expected to be pivotal in the film’s production.
The movie, produced by K. K. Radhamohan and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, is a major project in Sharwanand’s career. Titled ‘Bhogi’ with the tagline “A Blood Fest”, it showcases Sharwanand in a new rugged and intense avatar, generating significant excitement. The film is set against the backdrop of North Telangana–Maharashtra border in the late 1960s, aiming to blend realism with high-impact drama.
‘Bhogi’ stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, supported by a strong ensemble cast in key roles. The technical team includes Kiran Kumar Manne for production design, Kishore Kumar Arokia for cinematography, and Bheems Ceciroleo for music composition. Scheduled for a pan-India release on August 28, 2026, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan, the film will hit theaters in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
