Bhopal Wolves have revealed their team lineup for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup, with Sanskriti Gupta and Aayushi Shukla featuring prominently. Team manager Rupesh Kirar expressed confidence in the squad, emphasizing a blend of experience, energy, and young talent. The team is geared up to play an aggressive and fearless style of cricket in the tournament, aiming to leverage the MPL platform for player development and recognition.
The tournament will kick off on June 3, with Gwalior Cheetahs taking on Ujjain Falcons in the opening match of the men’s competition at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Bhopal Wolves will commence their campaign against Bundelkhand Bulls on June 4 in an afternoon clash at Daly College. The MPL 2026 edition promises to be the largest yet, featuring an expanded format comprising 10 men’s teams and five women’s franchises.
In the men’s category, three new franchises – Malwa Stallions, Ujjain Falcons, and Royal Nimar Eagles – have joined the league, adding to the competitive mix. The women’s competition has also grown with the inclusion of Gwalior Shernis and Royal Nimar Eagles, expanding the field to five teams. Notable players in the Bhopal Wolves Women’s Squad include Sanskriti Gupta, Aayushi Shukla, and other talented individuals ready to make their mark in the tournament.
