Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary introduced the ‘Sahyog Portal’ and Helpline Number 1100 to enhance public grievance resolution. The portal, sahyog.bihar.gov.in, includes a real-time monitoring system for transparent and timely grievance redressal. Additional Chief Secretary B. Rajender highlighted the initiative’s focus on time-bound and transparent grievance resolution.
The new system allows for both online and offline complaint submissions, with a commitment to resolving each grievance within 30 days. Updates on grievance status and compliance reports will be accessible online, with senior officials monitoring cases through a real-time dashboard. A significant aspect of the initiative is the ‘Sahyog Shivir’ program at the Panchayat level.
This program, scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays of each month, enables citizens to submit complaints directly for on-the-ground issue resolution. District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police will oversee the process to ensure efficiency and accountability. Notably, officials failing to resolve grievances within 30 days will face automatic suspension on the 31st day.
