Amid criticism from the opposition regarding Bihar’s law and order situation, Deputy Chief Minister cum Home Minister Samrat Choudhary issued a stern warning to criminals. He emphasized that the government’s top priority is to uphold the rule of law without any tolerance for negligence. Choudhary assured that Bihar Police have the freedom to act decisively against criminals, with no political interference.
In response to opposition allegations, Choudhary highlighted the proactive stance of Bihar Police against criminal activities. He expressed confidence in the police force’s ability to prevent untoward incidents and enhance public trust. Choudhary emphasized that stringent actions taken by the police across all fronts aim to reduce crime and boost public security.
Apart from addressing law enforcement issues, Choudhary also shared an optimistic vision for Bihar’s future. He mentioned the city of Patna’s devotion and expressed hopes for the state’s progress and prosperity. The government believes that empowering the police will not only instill fear in criminals but also reinforce public faith in the system.
The Bihar government is currently under scrutiny following the mysterious death of a NEET aspirant in Patna, drawing criticism from opposition leaders over alleged investigative lapses. Patna Police’s lack of progress in the case has raised concerns, with the opposition questioning potential motives for the delay. Purnea Lok Sabha MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, strongly condemned the Bihar Police, citing the post-mortem report confirming sexual assault on the victim.
