FIFA World Cup 2026 action will be shown on Unite8 Sports channels and Zee5 starting June 11. Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited has acquired the Indian media rights for this event, as well as for FIFA World Cup 2030, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, and other key FIFA events until 2034.
To enhance the viewing experience for sports enthusiasts, Zee has introduced four dedicated sports channels: Unite8 Sports 1, Unite8 Sports 1 HD, Unite8 Sports 2, and Unite8 Sports 2 HD. Additionally, Zee 5, their digital entertainment platform, will provide a live immersive viewing experience in multiple languages for football fans.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd emphasized its partnership with FIFA to bring major football events to Indian audiences. These include FIFA Men’s U-17 World Cup, FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup, FIFA U-20 Men’s World Cup, FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, FIFA Futsal World Cup, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and FIFA Intercontinental Cup, among others.

The FIFA Chief Business Officer, Romy Gai, expressed excitement about partnering with Zee to introduce the FIFA World Cup to India, recognizing the country’s potential as a key market for the sport.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, will feature 48 teams for the first time. Scheduled from June 11 to July 19, this edition will include a record 104 matches across 16 venues in 16 cities.
