Bihar’s Revenue and Land Reforms Minister, Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, announced plans to appoint computer operator-cum-clerks in every panchayat to enhance online revenue services accessibility. This initiative aims to streamline and simplify revenue-related services at the grassroots level. The Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring easy access to online revenue services without delays for citizens.
During a departmental review meeting, Minister Jaiswal reviewed revenue administration work in Darbhanga and Sheikhpura districts. He highlighted that appointing staff in every panchayat would improve the efficiency of online revenue services. The government has proposed recruiting 8,054 revenue staff members to address manpower shortages in the department.
Minister Jaiswal directed officials to prioritize encroachment-related cases and resolve pending matters promptly. He warned against unnecessary delays in public-related issues and stressed the need for visible improvements in revenue administration functioning. The Minister announced regular district-wise reviews to monitor progress and ensure efficient service delivery to the public.
Officials were instructed to expedite the disposal of cases related to encroachment removal, mutation, e-measurement services, and public grievances. Minister Jaiswal emphasized the importance of regular monitoring to ensure timely case resolution. Departmental officials conducted a detailed assessment of district performance in various areas during the review meeting.
