Founder Chairman of the Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, is set to visit Andhra Pradesh on Monday. Leading a delegation from the Foundation, Gates will engage in discussions with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister for Information Technology Nara Lokesh. The talks will cover various sectors such as education, health, and agriculture, focusing on expanding ongoing projects with the State Government’s collaboration.
During his visit, Gates will be at the State Secretariat at 10 a.m. and will tour the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) Centre to observe technology’s role in governance. Chandrababu Naidu will present the state’s real-time governance strategies and achievements to Gates, followed by a meeting involving the Chief Minister, his Cabinet colleagues, and officials to discuss ongoing initiatives.
Chandrababu Naidu will provide insights into the reforms undertaken to achieve the Swarnandhra Vision-2047 goals, emphasizing areas like public health, agriculture, and education. Additionally, projects such as MedTech, diagnostic services, and Sanjeevani will be detailed. The State Government will also showcase the Sanjeevani project, a collaborative effort with the Gates Foundation, and the Gates team will visit a farm in Amaravati to assess farming practices utilizing drones and AI technology.
The Chief Minister recently highlighted the improvements in public health services through the Sanjeevani project, emphasizing the creation of digital health records and personalized medicine with the Gates Foundation’s support.
