The BJP claims the videos were manipulated to mislead voters. They have requested the removal of these videos from social media platforms.
In a separate complaint, the BJP accused CM Mamata Banerjee of making false statements about EVMs and VVPAT machines. They allege that she implied the BJP’s involvement in electoral manipulation. The BJP has urged the Commission to take action against Banerjee for her remarks.
Additionally, the BJP filed a complaint over an alleged attack on the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari. They highlighted multiple incidents of assaults on BJP members and requested FIRs against the perpetrators. The BJP seeks enhanced security measures in sensitive areas for fair campaigning.
