BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Deo highlighted the distinction between love marriages and love jihad, emphasizing the latter’s coercive nature.
Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC supported Bhagwat’s stance, emphasizing the importance of instilling strong values within society to uphold marriages. She criticized Owaisi for misinterpreting Bhagwat’s statements and clarified that the issue is not about opposing marriages between consenting adults from diverse backgrounds. Shaina NC stressed the need to prevent situations where individuals are deceived into marriage, emphasizing the beauty of unity in diversity.
