The Karnataka unit of the BJP rejoiced at their victories in West Bengal and Assam Assembly elections by hosting celebrations at their Bengaluru headquarters, ‘Jagannath Bhavan’. Led by BJP state President B.Y. Vijayendra, the event saw party workers, including LoP Ashoka and other leaders, coming together to mark the occasion.
During the festivities, LoP Ashoka and Vijayendra prepared and distributed ‘churmuri’, a snack similar to the popular Bengali ‘jhalmuri’. Ashoka highlighted concerns about West Bengal being an entry point for illegal immigrants and terrorists, criticizing the previous government’s alleged support for immigrants from Bangladesh.
Ashoka emphasized the significance of PM Modi’s leadership in ensuring national security, especially in the context of the West Bengal elections. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects in the Davanagere South seat and praised the party’s track record in by-elections. Karnataka BJP State President Vijayendra lauded the BJP’s victory in Assam as a testament to a decade of governance and the people’s trust in the party’s development model.
Vijayendra attributed the success to PM Modi’s vision and the effective coordination between the Centre and state governments. He commended Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his strategic leadership and credited party workers for their grassroots efforts in securing the electoral wins.
