The BJP emerged victorious in municipal corporation elections across Haryana, securing wins in Ambala City, Sonipat, and Panchkula. Notably, the party also clinched victories in Sampla Municipal Committee, Rewari, and Dharuhera, showcasing its strong urban presence. In Panchkula, BJP’s mayoral candidate, Sham Lal Bansal, along with 17 ward candidates, secured a decisive win.

The BJP’s success extended to Rewari Municipal Council, where candidate Vineeta Pippal won the chairperson’s post by a significant margin of over 21,000 votes. In Sonipat, the BJP dominated by winning 16 out of 22 wards in the Municipal Corporation, with Rajiv Jain emerging victorious in the mayoral election. The party also secured wins in various other wards, consolidating its position in the region.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini congratulated all the winning candidates, attributing the victories to the public’s endorsement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies. He emphasized the growing trust in PM Modi’s governance, highlighting the BJP’s consistent success in forming governments nationwide. Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Anil Vij praised the BJP candidates for their performance, stating that the victories reflect public trust in development and good governance under PM Modi’s leadership.
