Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal stated that the BJP is likely to emerge victorious in the West Bengal Assembly elections due to alleged corruption and hooliganism by the Trinamool Congress government. Maliwal, confident in BJP’s success, mentioned interactions with locals and journalists in West Bengal who predict a BJP win.
Maliwal attributed the potential BJP victory in Bengal to the alleged mismanagement and corruption by the Trinamool Congress, along with praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also expressed optimism about the BJP’s prospects in West Bengal, citing strong anti-incumbency sentiments against the current government.
Pradhan highlighted the people’s trust in PM Modi’s leadership and BJP’s policies, expressing confidence in a government change in West Bengal. Additionally, he mentioned BJP’s confidence in retaining power in Assam and the party’s anticipated success in Puducherry, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
West Bengal BJP In-charge Mangal Pandey echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the public’s desire to remove the current government and establish a development-focused administration under PM Modi’s leadership. Pandey predicted a BJP victory in West Bengal on May 4, aiming for a “double-engine government.”
