The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ramped up its efforts for the Datia Assembly bye-election by launching a booth-level outreach plan and sending out 15 campaign vehicles. These vehicles were inaugurated by BJP’s Madhya Pradesh incharge Mahendra Singh from the party’s election office in Datia.
Mahendra Singh, while addressing party workers, expressed confidence in BJP candidate Ashutosh Shukla’s victory, citing the widespread enthusiasm among people in the constituency. The campaign vehicles are set to traverse both urban and rural areas to promote the BJP’s agenda and connect with voters before the polling day.
In addition to the vehicle campaign, the BJP has devised a comprehensive booth management strategy. Former ministers, MLAs, and senior party officials have been tasked with overseeing ‘Shakti Kendras’, which are groups of four to six polling booths. Each Kendra has been assigned a supervisor and an organizer to manage booth operations, campaign activities, and enhance voter engagement.
The party’s initiative covers all six organizational sectors in the constituency, aiming to enhance grassroots coordination and ensure efficient booth management during the election. Meanwhile, the Election Commission has made arrangements for home voting for eligible voters, with polling scheduled for July 30 and vote counting on August 3.
