BJP leader Sunil Sharma criticized the National Conference government in Jammu and Kashmir for outsourcing 23,000 jobs instead of filling them through regular recruitment. Sharma expressed concern over the impact on unemployed youth in the region, urging the government to reconsider its decision. He cited official data indicating the outsourcing of thousands of positions over the past two years, calling it a betrayal of the youth’s aspirations.
Sharma emphasized the BJP’s commitment to addressing employment issues and holding the government accountable. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to enhance security and stability in the region for youth empowerment. Sharma also accused political families like the Abdullahs and Muftis of misleading the public and hindering BJP’s progress in the region.
In response to PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti’s comments on the India–US trade deal, Sharma urged her to prioritize local concerns over international matters. He emphasized the need for leaders to focus on addressing the employment and youth-related challenges faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
