BJP leader Dilip Kumar Jaiswal criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his remarks against Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, calling it arrogant and lacking political decorum. Jaiswal emphasized that history shows arrogance in public life does not last. He highlighted the importance of expressing political disagreements with restraint, especially on sensitive issues like national unity and the armed forces.
Jaiswal also responded to Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s criticism of Rahul Gandhi, praising the unparalleled contributions of the Sikh community to the nation. He stressed the historic sacrifices made by the Sikh community and condemned any statement questioning their faith or commitment to the country. Jaiswal expressed that such remarks not only hurt Sikh sentiments but also undermine India’s unity and brotherhood.
Furthermore, Jaiswal criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress for allegedly promoting lawlessness and political violence in the state. He accused them of fostering an environment of fear, violence, and intimidation, stating that the people of West Bengal are determined to remove the current government. Jaiswal asserted that the citizens of West Bengal seek change and accountability, believing that democratic forces will prevail in the end.
