B.L. Santhosh, the BJP National General Secretary (Organisation), stated that Dharmendra Pradhan stepped down as the Union Education Minister to uphold broader social interests. Santhosh highlighted Pradhan’s accomplishments, emphasizing his successful oversight of the NEP 2020 implementation and the introduction of more than 100 educational reforms. Pradhan’s resignation, announced on Saturday, was motivated by his concerns over recent events and a desire to prevent exploitation by anti-national elements amid controversies over examination irregularities.
In his resignation letter, Pradhan reiterated his dedication to youth and education, expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support.
