BJP leader Nitin Nabin visited various religious sites before officially assuming the role of the party’s National President. Starting his day at the Jhandewalan Temple, Nabin also offered prayers at the Hanuman Mandir and the Prachin Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir. Seeking blessings, he then went to the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara.
Celebrations are underway outside the BJP headquarters in anticipation of the new party president. Security measures have been heightened for the occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior party members are expected to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Nabin emerged as the sole candidate for the National President position after the nomination process closed without any other contenders. With strong support from party leaders, he is set to be elected unopposed by the electoral college. Nabin’s rise signifies a blend of youthful leadership and organizational continuity within the BJP.
