Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress for the AI Summit protest, with BJP leaders accusing Rahul Gandhi of tarnishing India’s global image. Union Minister Giriraj Singh claimed that the protest orchestrated by Congress had backfired, isolating the party nationally and internationally. Singh condemned Rahul Gandhi for defaming India and stated that the people would not forgive him for his actions.
Bihar Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal echoed similar sentiments, asserting that the controversy had damaged the Congress rather than the nation. He highlighted that the Congress was losing its grassroots support and becoming “leaderless.” Jaiswal mentioned that even Congress-affiliated students and youth were feeling embarrassed by the protest.
PM Modi, speaking in Meerut, criticized the Congress for the ‘shirtless protest’ by its youth wing during the AI Summit. He accused the party of using a global event for domestic politics, labeling it as evidence of the Congress’ ideological bankruptcy. Modi thanked allies within the INDIA bloc for distancing themselves from the protest, emphasizing that the incident had triggered sharp exchanges between the government and the Opposition.
