On Veer Bal Diwas, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda visited Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk to pay respects and pray, emphasizing Sikhism’s foundation on Guru sacrifices and Sikhs’ role as guardians of the nation. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, Minister Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and other leaders also offered prayers at the Gurdwara Sahib.
In a separate event, BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin visited Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi to mark the Shaheedi Month of the Sikh community. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also participated in the Veer Bal Diwas observance, highlighting the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons and the values instilled by Mata Gujri and Guru Gobind Singh.
The commemoration continued with Chief Minister Gupta leading a program at Thyagaraj Stadium, featuring a laser and light show at Purana Qila depicting the heroic saga of the Sahibzadas. The event aimed to convey historical chapters to the youth effectively, emphasizing courage, patriotism, and moral fortitude for future generations.
