BJP leaders criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Gandhi had suggested that Modi might impose an Emergency-like situation due to public pressure. Union Minister Giriraj Singh likened Gandhi to Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar, while BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari called him a “dangerous and anarchic man.” BJP Telangana President N. Ramchander Rao reminded that it was the Congress party that imposed the Emergency in 1975.
Maharashtra Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule advised Gandhi to focus on his family and party instead of worrying about the country as long as PM Modi is in power. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi dismissed Gandhi’s statements, emphasizing India’s economic growth. Haryana Minister Anil Vij suggested that Gandhi seek medical help for his apparent depression after electoral losses.
