A special court in Gwalior has declared Dinesh Lodhi, son of BJP MLA Pritam Lodhi, an absconder in a case under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Despite repeated warrants, Dinesh Lodhi failed to appear before the court, leading to the issuance of a permanent arrest warrant against him.

The case against Dinesh Lodhi is registered at Purani Chhawani police station in Gwalior, with an earlier arrest warrant issued in December 2023 remaining unexecuted as the accused could not be located. Following his continued absence and a police report, the court declared him absconding under the law.

In recent months, Dinesh Lodhi has been involved in other criminal cases, including a case where his SUV allegedly hit five individuals, sparking a political controversy. He was also previously arrested in a Gwalior attempt-to-murder case, which garnered public attention at the time.
