BJP MP Anurag Thakur commended Samskrita Bharati’s work during the inauguration of its central office in Delhi. Thakur lauded the organization’s efforts over the past four decades, describing them as commendable and noteworthy. He expressed confidence in Samskrit Bharti’s ability to expand its work to every village, providing more opportunities for those familiar with Sanskrit.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the significance of learning Sanskrit, calling it the “very soul” of India and a crucial aspect of the country’s cultural continuity. Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh Shreesh Deo Pujari noted the increasing societal and governmental support for Sanskrit, highlighting the importance of direct learning, especially for the younger generation.
Dinesh Chandra, Leader and International Patron of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, advocated for Sanskrit to be recognized as the national language, citing its historical importance. He emphasized Sanskrit’s role as the original language of the world and Samskrit Bharati’s mission to promote it globally. Academic leaders also stressed the relevance of Sanskrit in education and preserving moral values.
The event underscored the ongoing efforts to promote Sanskrit as not only a classical heritage but also a dynamic and pertinent language for future generations.
