BJP National President Nitin Nabin and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma initiated a 15-day ‘Gram Rath’ campaign to promote the upcoming Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet, ‘GRAM-2026’. The campaign kickstarted at the OTS complex, featuring specially designed mobile units that will travel to all gram panchayats in the state to inform about GRAM-2026 and state welfare schemes.
Nitin Nabin, emphasizing PM Modi’s ‘Antyodaya’ vision, highlighted initiatives like Jan Dhan, Make in India, and Skill India for societal development. He commended Rajasthan’s progress under Chief Minister Sharma’s leadership, particularly in enhancing farmers’ incomes and rural infrastructure. Nabin praised the inclusive development approach of taking ‘Gram Raths’ to every village.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stressed the importance of empowering villages, farmers, and the agricultural sector for India’s advancement. He mentioned the state’s efforts to boost farmers’ incomes and create new opportunities. Sharma underlined the significance of GRAM-2026 as a platform to introduce modern agricultural techniques to farmers and attract investors to Rajasthan’s agricultural sector.
Sharma also highlighted the ‘Gram Rath’ campaign’s role in spreading awareness about schemes and providing a platform for citizens to share feedback directly with the government. He mentioned various central and state schemes benefiting farmers, such as Kisan Samman Nidhi and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister reiterated the state’s commitment to grassroots development through initiatives like Gram Utthan Shivirs and Viksit Gram-Ward Abhiyan.
