BJP National President Nitin Nabin has started his first two-day organizational visit to Uttar Pradesh since taking office. Upon his arrival in Lucknow, he was welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary, and other party leaders. Nabin embarked on a grand roadshow from the airport to the party’s state headquarters, covering an 18-km route with elaborate welcome arrangements at over 50 locations.
The roadshow, featuring a specially-decorated chariot, is viewed as a display of strength to boost party morale ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. This visit holds significance as it marks Nabin’s initial engagement with the newly-formed Uttar Pradesh BJP team. Party officials anticipate that the visit will aid in finalizing the organizational roadmap and election strategy for the state polls.
During his stay, Nabin is set to conduct a series of meetings with state office-bearers, regional and district presidents, and leaders of various BJP frontal organizations. He is also scheduled to meet with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and other key figures. Additionally, Nabin will participate in organizational discussions at the BJP state headquarters and offer prayers at the Hanuman Setu Temple in Lucknow.
Later in the evening, Nabin will engage with notable personalities from diverse fields and have dinner with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The following day, he will meet booth-level workers, address the BJP’s Shakti Kendra Convenor Conference, and provide guidance on booth strengthening and organizational expansion in preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections. Nabin will conclude his visit by reviewing grassroots organizational activities at the residence of booth president Shivaji Rawat in Peer Nagar.
