BJP National President Nitin Nabin is in Amritsar for a three-day outreach program to energize party members before the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. This move follows Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement that the BJP will contest independently without forming alliances. Nabin, accompanied by Union Minister Ravneet Singh and MP Tarun Chugh, received a warm Punjabi-style welcome upon arrival.
Nitin Nabin’s itinerary includes engagements in Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Ludhiana, covering religious, social, and organizational events. He will visit key sites like Sri Harmandir Sahib, Jallianwala Bagh, and Lovely Professional University for International Yoga Day celebrations. The visit aims to boost the BJP’s organizational presence and connect with diverse sections of society in Punjab.
The BJP President will inaugurate the District BJP office in Ludhiana and hold meetings with party officials, MPs, MLAs, and youth representatives. Scheduled events include a Youth Conclave and interactions with state office-bearers and district presidents. The visit is expected to enhance the party’s outreach and organizational strength in Punjab.
