Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President Nitin Nabin is set to visit Goa for a two-day trip starting Friday. Nabin will lead organizational meetings to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure in the state. This visit marks his second state tour after West Bengal since assuming office as BJP President.
The agenda, as per BJP National Media Co-head Sanjay Mayukh, includes enhancing organizational readiness and engaging directly with party workers in various constituencies. Nabin’s itinerary includes a series of key meetings, starting with his arrival at Panaji’s Manohar International Airport at 10:35 a.m. on Friday.
Upon arrival, he will head to the State BJP Core Committee meeting at the party’s state office in Panaji at 12:15 p.m. Subsequently, Nabin will meet Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at his residence in Altinho at 1:25 p.m., followed by a session with BJP MLAs at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Panaji at 3 p.m.
Later in the day, Nabin will visit the Shree Mahalasa Narayani Devalaya in South Goa’s Verna for prayers at 4:30 p.m. He will then chair a meeting of the South Goa District Committee at the district office in Margao at 5:15 p.m. The day will wrap up with a meeting involving state BJP office bearers and other party officials at Hotel Vivanta in Panaji.
On January 31, Nabin will inspect the construction site of the new BJP office at Kadamba Plateau, Old Goa, at 9:15 a.m. He will also pay respects at the samadhi sthals of late Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and Goa’s first Chief Minister Bhausaheb Bandodkar at 10:15 a.m. Following this, at 10:50 a.m., he will address a Karyakarta Sammelan at the Taleigao Community Centre in Caranzalem.
Nabin’s schedule includes lunch at a party worker’s residence in Saligao constituency at 1:30 p.m. Later in the day, he will lead a booth committee meeting in the Mapusa constituency at 3:30 p.m., followed by an interaction with the North Goa District Committee at the district office in Mapusa at 4:30 p.m.
