Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin spoke at a large public gathering in Bihar’s Bankipur Assembly constituency, urging voters to back NDA candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha in the upcoming July 30 by-election. Nabin highlighted the BJP’s focus on empowering grassroots workers, citing Sinha’s nomination as a testament to the party’s recognition of dedicated members. The event was attended by various NDA leaders, including Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi and Lok Sabha MP Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Nabin expressed gratitude to the people of Bankipur for their support and trust, emphasizing Sinha’s journey from a booth president to a Mandal president within the party. He lauded the BJP’s practice of providing opportunities to ordinary workers, contrasting it with parties that favor influential families for ticket distribution. Nabin criticized opposition parties relying on dynastic politics and financial influence, asserting their lack of understanding of the struggles faced by grassroots workers.
Highlighting the NDA’s historical victory in Bihar in 2005, Nabin praised BJP workers for their role in combating lawlessness and promoting good governance. He outlined various development projects undertaken by the NDA government, such as infrastructure improvements, water and electricity supply enhancements, and community building constructions in Bankipur. Nabin also pointed out the progress in areas like Mithapur, Chandpur Bela, and Sipara, attributing the improvements to the government’s commitment to urban development.
