BJP President Nitin Nabin has sent specially curated boxes of premium Indian mangoes to diplomats from 82 countries stationed in New Delhi. The hampers included four renowned Indian mango varieties – Kesar, Dasheri, Banganapalli, and Langra, each known for its unique taste, aroma, and regional significance.
This cultural outreach initiative aims to exhibit India’s diverse horticultural heritage and emphasize the global popularity of its beloved summer fruit. Along with the mangoes, Nabin included a personal note expressing greetings and highlighting the cultural importance of the fruit, symbolizing hospitality, friendship, and India’s agricultural legacy.
This gesture is seen as a form of cultural diplomacy, utilizing one of India’s iconic fruits to promote goodwill and enhance relations with the diplomatic community in the capital. India stands as one of the world’s largest mango producers, with varieties like Kesar, Dasheri, Banganapalli, and Langra being widely admired both locally and internationally for their exceptional flavor and quality.
