Reacting to discussions on the India-US trade agreement, BJP Punjab President Kewal Singh Dhillon reassured farmers that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has guaranteed no compromise on their interests. The Central Government clarified that key agricultural products like paddy, wheat, and milk will be excluded from the agreement. Dhillon emphasized that no final agreement has been reached yet, urging farmers not to be misled by rumors.
Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress, Dhillon criticized them for playing politics in the name of farmers. He highlighted BJP’s unwavering support for farmers and urged Punjab farmers to trust PM Modi’s leadership. Dhillon invited farmers’ organizations with concerns to engage in discussions with the government, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to enhancing farmers’ income for Punjab’s prosperity.
