Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari lauded the party’s success in the West Bengal Assembly elections, terming it a “historic moment.” Bhandari credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the victory, emphasizing the triumph of people’s trust over fear.
He characterized the election outcome as a strong rebuff of “appeasement politics” and a win for the BJP’s governance approach centered on “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” Bhandari highlighted that the people of Bengal had chosen the BJP’s vision for progress and administration in the state.
The spokesperson remarked that the electoral mandate mirrored the aspirations of West Bengal residents, blessing the BJP under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership. He acknowledged the dedication of BJP workers who had tirelessly worked to expand the party’s presence in the state over the years.
Bhandari underscored the historical significance of the BJP’s roots in Bengal, tracing back to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh’s origins in the state. He described the recent developments as the culmination of a prolonged ideological and organizational struggle, labeling it a victory in a “civilisational battle.”
Crediting Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s organizational strategy and implementation for the results, Bhandari expressed gratitude to various senior BJP leaders for their guidance and backing. He specifically thanked Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President Nitin Nabin, and other key party figures for their roles in the victory.
