State BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra has urged for a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities surrounding the recruitment of 400 veterinary officers through the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). He emphasized that those responsible for any wrongdoing must face strict consequences. Vijayendra expressed deep concern over an audio leak linked to the KPSC recruitment process, suggesting possible manipulation of marks through illicit means.

Critiquing the government’s response to the situation, Vijayendra highlighted delays in filing a complaint, with an FIR reportedly lodged only after official approval later in the day. He noted that such actions raise significant doubts. The BJP leader revealed that numerous job seekers had approached him, sharing their grievances regarding the purported KPSC anomalies. Vijayendra assured these individuals of the party’s unwavering support in seeking justice for the affected candidates.

Accusing the Congress government of neglecting necessary actions, Vijayendra criticized its failure to restore public trust in the KPSC. He stressed the need for reforms and active measures to address the credibility crisis. Additionally, Vijayendra pledged full backing to students protesting against the alleged irregularities, acknowledging the party’s delayed response to the issue. He vowed to engage more closely with the students and prioritize the matter in the days ahead.
