He expressed concerns about the influence of gangsters on the youth, leading to increased violence in the state. Jakhar held Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann responsible for the deteriorating situation, citing failures in intelligence operations and reactive policing strategies.
Jakhar raised alarm over the surge in hand grenade attacks in Punjab, linking them to criminal networks and terrorism. He criticized the government’s inability to address the escalating violence, causing fear and insecurity among the populace. Jakhar highlighted the diversion of police resources towards non-essential tasks, impacting public safety and exacerbating the prevailing atmosphere of fear in Punjab.
