Bharatiya Janata Party’s state President Sunil Jakhar has highlighted the need for ensuring the safety of the family of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, a Divisional Manager who tragically took his own life. Following Randhawa’s death, a minister resigned, and Jakhar expressed dismay over the lack of security arrangements for the bereaved family.
Jakhar emphasized that despite the family’s integrity and the widow’s courageous pursuit of justice, no government official has extended condolences or support. He commended the widow’s resilience in seeking justice for her husband and criticized the absence of official outreach to the grieving family.
The BJP president underscored the importance of safeguarding the Divisional Manager’s family, especially in light of ongoing support for the former minister’s ideology and the perceived influence of the minister’s family within the government. Jakhar called for unity among Punjabis to ensure justice for Randhawa and to deter future tragedies caused by injustice.
He urged for exemplary punishment for those responsible for Randhawa’s death, emphasizing the significance of upholding honesty and integrity in society. Jakhar reassured the family of the BJP’s unwavering support in their quest for justice and pledged to stand by them until justice is served.
