Addressing the need for action, Minister Gowda affirmed the government’s commitment to providing housing under official schemes for the affected residents. He clarified that the land in question falls under the jurisdiction of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and reiterated the ongoing efforts to clear encroachments.
Minister Gowda underscored the importance of following due process and refraining from spreading rumors. He urged both ruling and opposition leaders to await the police investigation’s outcome based on factual evidence. Emphasizing adherence to legal protocols, he highlighted the need to address any presence of illegal immigrants in accordance with national guidelines.
