Bharatiya Janata Party state president Madan Rathore responded to opposition claims regarding water, fuel, and gas supply problems, accusing Congress leaders of causing unnecessary confusion among the public. Rathore highlighted the failure of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to establish a reliable water supply system in Rajasthan, including in Jodhpur, despite serving three terms. He emphasized the BJP government’s efforts to address the water crisis and ensure smooth supply across the state.
Rathore mentioned that while water supply in Jodhpur city was relatively normal, some issues had arisen in rural areas. He assured that the government was actively working to provide door-to-door water delivery, attributing temporary disruptions to a scheduled closure at the Bhakra Dam, which was gradually being resolved. Rathore criticized Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra for planning to protest at the BJP office over the NEET paper leak issue, stating that the allegations made by Congress were not connected to the BJP.
Regarding gas and fuel prices, Rathore accused the opposition of engaging in petty politics and being aware of the tense situation in Gulf countries. He praised the Central Government, led by PM Modi, for safeguarding national interests and ensuring uninterrupted essential supplies despite challenges in production centers. Rathore urged the opposition to acknowledge the government’s efforts instead of spreading confusion and politicizing issues like the Prime Minister’s call for frugality and conservation.
Rathore also commended a BJP worker for setting up water pots for birds despite her fragile health and encouraged people to provide food and water for animals and birds during the hot weather. He called on citizens to install water pots and keep them filled regularly throughout the summer season.
