Panic ensued on the Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Express when a bomb threat was reported, leading to immediate action by security authorities. The train was halted at Mau railway station in Uttar Pradesh, and all passengers were evacuated for a thorough search operation. Senior police officials, including the Superintendent of Police (SP), swiftly responded to the situation.

Passengers were asked to disembark as a safety measure while security personnel meticulously inspected the coaches. The incident occurred while the train was traveling from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) Ram Prabhav Yadav confirmed the alert and emphasized passenger safety as the top priority during the evacuation and checking process.

Security teams, comprising local police, Government Railway Police (GRP), and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, continued their search efforts to ensure the safety of all passengers.
